Day 33: Orange, Blue, Pink EOTD

Day 33! Today I wanted to use the color orange since it's this week's theme for the NTMS makeup challenge; this look was inspired by this color scheme from Design Seeds. It's a stunning mixture of bright oranges, bold blues, and a hint of pale pink<3

Whenever I think of orange makeup, I think of Flamepoint. It's my favorite of the 5 Sugarpill pressed shades I own. I love using it, it's so pigmented and blends so well.<3

For this look I tried to be a little different in terms of shape and placement. I hope you liked the result! ;)

This pinky-orange color in the 120 palette is practically neon, it's amazing! I think I'll be using it again soon...<3

 The only thing I'm not crazy about is the liner, I think it looks a little weird. I started out patting the Mon Ennui glitter over the Candy Glitter liner but it was too dark so I switched to the Mac glitter which is brighter and more sparkly. The crazy lashes were an afterthought, lol. I'd like to recreate this sometime as a full face with different lashes. :)

Day 20: "Neutral and Pink" FOTD

 Day 20! Today I felt like playing so I decided to do the NTMS challenge which was Neutral and Pink. I'll say right now I've never been good at neutral looks, but I tried. I guess I just need more practice, lol.

I used mostly Chinovi shadows for these looks (there are two, each eye is different).

I hope you enjoyed these somewhat unconventional looks, lol. They didn't turn out how I wanted but that's entirely due to my lack of neutral skillz. I love working with my Chinovi shadows!<3

Day 5: Monochromatic Purple

 HEYTHERE it's Day 5 and I finally have this post I've been trying to do for the last 2 days! The theme for this look coincides with both the NTMS weekly challenge AND Nymphette's calendar challenge for yesterday: Monochromatic! For my one color I chose purple and used alternating shades to create this look.

I actually did makeup and took pics during the day! :O Normally it's late afternoon or evening when I do makeup but this time I managed to take pictures before the sun set, lol. As a result it's been different trying to edit the pics and such, as I'm not used to dealing with photos that were taken in daylight. I only used one camera this time but I used two different lenses. Some pics were taken with flash, some without, some in direct sun, some in indirect natural light, etc. I hope it provides a variety. :)

Electric Blue & Hot Pink with BFTE, UD, & Fyrinnae

 Here's a look I did last week with nothing particular in mind. Actually I did have a look in mind but this ended up turning into something completely different, lol. It's an electric blue and hot pink look using mainly Urban Decay pencils, BFTE shadows, and 2 really sweet ones from Fyrinnae.
